HOSE DEPLOYMENT SKID
CLIENT CHALLENGE
A international well control company had an urgent need for a new build subsea Hose Deployment Skid. The skid needed to be designed to take into account learnings from previous similar systems. The company was looking for a company that could provide the design and fabrication services.
ITC SOLUTION
The ITC engineering department arranged a kick-off meeting with the company to understanding the requirements and lesson learnt to these could be incorporated in the design.
Drawing were prepared and follow-up review meetings held with the company prior to commencing fabrication. During the design phase ITC procurement source the suitable steel stock so that there would be no delay awaiting parts.
THE RESULTS
ITC in-house design and fabrication capability allowed a one stop shop approach with improved delivery and design control. The skid was fabricated to suit the company’s needs and delivered in time for full system trial prior to deployment. The company’s operation manager commended ITC efforts.
