Ian, co-founder and owner of ITC, is a time served mechanic who started his working career with Inverurie Council looking after their fleet of vehicles. In the early 90s, Ian moved to work in the marine side of the Oil & Gas industry starting with Grampian Hydraulics servicing hydraulic equipment and the manufacturing of fast rescue launching davits before progressing to Sparrows where he worked as a hydraulic technician On and Offshore carrying out maintenance and troubleshooting on cranes, as well as the overhaul of hydraulic and mechanical equipment. In the late 90s Ian started up ITC hydraulics, initially providing contract services to various companies including Maritime Hydraulics, Acergy, Subsea7 and Halliburton. The business grew with the opening of a purpose-built facility in St Katherine allowing the design and manufacture of specialist hydraulic and mechanical equipment. Ian is a recognised expert in the field of hydraulic equipment and repairs.
Tracy, co-founder and owner of ITC, is the CFO and has been responsible for the financial and administrative side of the business from the start. This has been achieved while balancing the upbringing of Ian and Tracy’s three children, she also project managed the development of the ITC facility at St Katherine. Tracy is a strong believer in giving back to the community, she responsible for arranging the sponsorship of a number local junior and senior football team. She has also persuaded the workforce to take part in a various charity drives to raise funds for local foundations, in 2018 she embarked upon a month long daily challenge of climbing a local beauty spot Bennachie which gained her recognition as a Community Champion.
Emma is a 2nd generation of the Clark family, joining ITC in a junior role straight from school and already responsible for all of ITC’s procurement activities. Having gained her SVQ & Modern Apprenticeship in Business & Administration, Emma went on to completed a CIPS Diploma in Procurement & Supply and is currently studying for her Advanced Diploma CIPS. In between all this, Emma has also qualified for the calibration for SPAN gauges. Emma like her mum is very activity is charity work and accompanied her on Bennachie challenge which she also received recognition as a Community Champion at The Pride of Inverurie awards.
